Kathakali
Kathakali
is the classical dance form of Kerala in the first
half of 17th century A.D.. This elaborate art form
is usually performed in the evenings and continuing
till dawn and is an integral part of all Hindu temple
and make up are ornamental specific and designed to
give a supper specific and designed to give a super
human effect. The actors do not speak or sing, but
enact the strong through ‘Mudras’ (signs)
graceful movements and facial expressions. Stories
form Epic Ramayana and Mahabharata are being presenting
by classical music by separate musicians with the
background of varieties of drums.

Koodiyattam
A
dance drama is the oldest of this art. This art form
was recently selected by UNISCO as one among the Master
piece of the oral and intangible Heritage of humanity.

Mohiniyattam,
the dance of the enchantress reflects the graceful
nature of the land. The maovements of the dance have
been compared to the palms swaying in the gentle breeze
and the sweeping waves which are so much a part of
Keralas lush landscape.

This
is a classical art form, is social satire at its best
and keeps the audience is a constant state of merriment.
Story is selected from Hindu Epic-Ramayana & Mahabharata.
The artist himself narrating the story with the support
of musical instruments.

Alleppey
Cruise usually arranges this programme in the open
ground of the Hotel premises for the enjoyment of
a group.
Kalaripayattu
- the martial art form of Kerala – is regarded
as the oldest and most scientific in the world. Before
giving training, oil massage of body is given so as
the body is to be able and supple. Kalaipayattu training
aims at the ultimate co-ordination of mind and body.
The traditional training in a Kalari – school
– induce specialization in indigenous medical
practice too. Kalari are also centres of religious
worship. The general guidelines to be followed in
Kalaripayattu demand that once the course is completed
a person should undergo oil massage and engage in
the practice of the feet at least once a year to help
him keep in shape.

Cinematic
Dance
Cinematic
Dance is performed by the youth mixed with girls and
boys. The hit songs from latest films of various languages
are selected for this dance. Programme is played on
a specially made platform with sound and light arrangements.
